Terms of Service

These terms apply to inquiries and services provided under the BriefToAsset name. A project-specific proposal, statement of work, or invoice may add or replace terms for that engagement.
Quotes, scope, and payment
Quotes are based on the information available when issued. Work begins after scope, deliverables, schedule, payment terms, and revision allowances are agreed. Changes outside that scope may require a revised quote and timeline.
Discovery and revisions
Complex projects may require paid discovery. Whether that fee is credited toward production will be stated in the proposal. Included revisions and the meaning of a revision will also be defined per project.
Client materials and permissions
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for references, trademarks, likenesses, product images, copy, datasets, and other materials you provide. You must disclose restrictions that may affect production or use.
AI-assisted production
Our workflows may use third-party creative-AI services. Outputs can be probabilistic, may contain imperfections, and may not be unique. Copyright eligibility, platform acceptance, and permissible commercial use can vary by jurisdiction, source material, model, and provider terms. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee exclusivity, registrability, or performance results.
Delivery and acceptance
Deliverables, formats, review periods, and acceptance criteria will be stated in the project agreement. Source files, prompts, working files, and unused generations are not included unless listed explicitly.
Prohibited work
We may decline unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, unsafe, or non-consensual requests, including misleading impersonation and unauthorized use of a person’s likeness.
Cancellations, refunds, and liability
Cancellation and refund treatment depends on completed work, committed third-party costs, and the project agreement. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service, and indirect or consequential losses are excluded.

These website terms are a practical baseline and should be reviewed for the business entity and governing jurisdiction before accepting paid engagements.
